"What I Hear"
For my sound walk I decided to walk through my neighborhood in Queens, I used to walk a lot around my neighborhood when I was younger and had to walk to and from school or would hang out with friends at the local park but I do not do it as much and I definitely do not do it in the way I did this sound walk. The area I live in is full of attached private houses and small business. The second I stepped outside of my house my neighbor was having work done on their house so there was loud drilling and banging. I also live on a very busy street so there was plenty of sounds of cars honking or speeding by, it is also an emergency vehicle route so of course there are sounds of sirens. I also live a few blocks away from a highway but I never realized how close it actually was till I walked around the area and was able to hear tons of cars and trucks.
